MUZZLE BLASTS MAGAZINE
The Official Publication of the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association Mark Wheland’s “Leonard Reedy” rifle of the Wommelsdorf/Reading school was the first prize in the NMLRA’s Gunmakers Hall Giveaway, on September 20, 2003. It was displayed on the cover of this issue of Muzzle Blasts, along with miscellaneous accoutrements.

The magazine featured a tribute to the Contemporary Longrifle Association’s 10th Anniversary with a photo spread and an article, which included photos and a description of Mark Wheland’s contribution to the 2006 CLA Auction.

The 2006 CLA Auction Catalogue cover photo, and the beautiful interior photo spreads below, include Mark Wheland’s winner of Best In Show at Dixon’s 2005 Gunmakers Fair, a Christian’s Spring rifle, and accoutrements by Frank Willis, and Art DeCamp with Roland Cadle, all of which were donated to the CLA.
